RED VELVET BROWNIES with White Chocolate buttercream frosting

04Jan12

My older sister, who i miss much and haven't seen for almost 2 years now is celebrating her birthday today. She was the "little miss baker" of the family but sadly she's been residing worlds apart from us for us to indulge in her homemade baked goodies. So anyway, since its her birthday and i needed an excuse to gratify my sweet tooth i experimented and made myself some red velvet brownies.

RED VELVET BROWNIE

1 stick butter
1 1/2 c sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp red food coloring

White Chocolate buttercream frosting
3 oz white chocolate, melted
1 stick butter
2 1/2 c icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tbsp milk
